another semaster to go, then most probably entering uni either HK or UK, depends on my result~
so fucking busy in this course.. staying late at night to 2-3am.. /.\
but actually i quite enjoy studing architecture~

hi guys,



a happy new year to all..



it has been a busy year for all of us especially during late year. since then, there has been much fewer meetings, not only our basketball saturdays/sundays but also our saturday night movies and so on. since, we haven't been catching up with each other, i decided to give an update of what all of us have been doing.



weilun - busy with attachment. working as a chef in a revolving restaurant beside cineleisure. works till as late a 3am. didnt come for xmas and new years' countdowns as he had work.



zhiheng - busy with work, also as a chef. has gf commitments. but do come for bball when he's free. came for new years' countdown.



kelvin - busy with attachment. working in sgh as nurse koh. comes for saturday night movies with us. sometimes bring hazel along. can drive and sometimes drives us out for supper after movie.



melvin - busy with fyp. busy with piano lessons. busy with driving tests. nth else, he seems free as hell. recently though, seems to be busy with a girl. came for all countdowns.



daiwei - busy with gf. busy with army. in that sequence. =) didn't come for xmas and new years' countdowns as he had gf commitments. do hope to see more of him.



tamilvanan s/o ambalagan - busy with gf. busy with work. working in cineleisure as movie ticket seller cum lan shop keeper. basically, his job is to allow his friends who come and visit him during work, free lan games. didn't come for xmas countdown due to job commitments. however i don't blame him. afterall, i got to play lan for free that night.



aloy - busy with army and gf. but spends plenty of time with us too. comes for bball, saturday night movies and liquidkitchen nights with no alcohol. came for xmas and new years' countdowns.



hh the muscle man - busy with muscle building. busy with muscle building. busy with muscle building. just kidding. busy with nth basically. his story is a long one, though most of you should have heard it before..

was posted to OCS after bmt. but got injured once during bball. it wasn't that bad and all he needed was a few days of rest. but he went to see the medical officer, the medical officer told him to carry on with his Standard Obstable Course (SOC) training. he injured himself during SOC, terribly. went through a leg operation. his story might sound sad, but thats not the end. he's now on MC till dont know when. and its all included in his time in army. and he is slacking at home. comes for saturday night movies and liquidkitchen nights after our movies. also came for xmas and new years' countdowns.

kamal - busy with school and CCA. didn't come for xmas countdown as he had a family dinner. however, came for new years' countdown. do hope to see more of him.

engshaw - busy with army. went to australia for about a month for and overseas evercise. is back in singapore now. comes, once in awhile, for bball.

jerome - im in army. but my block leave just ended today. goes for bball when i mostly can. but injured my left wrist recently and will be out for about a few more weeks. goes for saturday night movies and liquidkitchen nights after our movies. went for xmas countdown. but couldn't go for new years' countdown as i had to do duty in camp.

that's all i have guys. for kenneth and kachung, do update us on yourselves. right now, the regular guys are me, melvin, hh, kelvin and aloy. for the rest of the guys, we dont blame you if you've got a reasonable excuse. especially now, when all of you are busy. however, if you are free, do come out with us. right now, the organisers organising the activities do get a little pissed when we plan for something and get very few replies. do make that little effort to reply our messages even if you're not coming. think, your reply is just 1 message. the one planning sends out 10 sometines. and sends another 10 to cancel the whole plan if there are too few people (which has been the case recently). do give credit to whoever is planning. its usually melvin. haha. anw, we might be planning chalet coming march/april. do let us know if you can come. you could bring your gf along and if its possible, let us know if she's coming too.

hey guys~ i jus recieve mail from my lecturer..i'll be flying off this tuesday,20th march...heading to myanmar for OSIP(attachment) til 10th june...gonna miss playing basketball with u guys...yea..hope to c u guys real soon~

hey guys. its been quiet in here, aint it? haha. firstly, i gotta wish everyone a happy cny. hows everyone doing? hope you're all doing fine. lets meet up for one of these saturdays to chat ya? lol.. anw just some updates. ns sucks. er, totally sucks. haha. field camp was just over and it was quite xiong. maybe cuz of the heat. it reaches 34degrees once in awhile. hha imagine the heat. it was so bad, most of us got heat rash, sore throat, coughs, bla bla. lol. anw, enjoy studying guys (while you can). earning 350 a month (thats about fifty cents an hour) and training in the hot sun is definitely not the kind of life you guys will look forward to. haha. and for me, i think ns is more xiong than ncc. cuz the punishment they give you is no more 100 push ups. rather, its confinement. which is only about the only thing you look forward to in camp. so you'd be glad if the commander told you to knock it down. cuz that means no confinement. how weird is that huh? haha.. ok so thats all i gotta say. and honestly, lets all meet up on one of these saturdays to ball. i really miss balling and you guys. haha take care.

hmm everyone's been rather busy of late right. jerome and eng shaw are in army alr and we can't see them for the next 2 weeks. heh. i'll be having field camp too so next week i can't book out. and kelvin got some overseas attachment? poly ppl still have some tests right? then jc ppl are working. ha.

ever thought about how we were brought together? malay indian chinese others we don't care. we just play ball. yea but now it's really hard to get everyone to come down to play. esp when some doesn't really live so near tbcc. but those days will always be treasured along with you all. so if there's a chance do drop by. unless it's raining (heavily), we'll be at tbcc every sat rain or shine. yups. and we can do other stuff too of courrse. can just voice it out here and if everyone's agreeable then we'll go along with it.

hmm ok. so you all should know that i'm going for ns this friday which is like so looming. haha. shall not be so emo cause it's not like i'll be gone for many years? haha. but will miss you all. like the saturday bball sessions. the times we went out like either canoeing and such. those were fun. haha. alright i think i'll still see some of you all this week so ya till then.

i just hope that it will be fun inside. lol. all stay healthy and have fun =D

Since we are called Team Daidee, obviously our codes will have to be card names. Captain aloy is surely Daidee. haha. Lets discuss this man and let us make ourselves a polo tee or wat (not jersey, dun worry) before u JC guys go in army to mature. We still got one more year to be kiddish.

how u guys doing?..nt much news from u all...the pace of sat bballs also slowing down..hope the A's ppl faster join us agn and all...its been awhile since a whole buncha us played together..miss those times ah..

yo. its early in the morning man. ahha. i cant get to sleep. sick of the studying shit. but it'll be over in about 1 month. my paper (which is the last paper, not considering 'S' paper) is the last paper. ending on the 24th of november. just to let you guys know, im actually quite screwed for this exam. but yea i'll do my best. many of you have told me b4, and will continue telling me. yup i'll do my best. hahas. anw, just to come and type smth. cuz im super bored. ok im off to bathe haha (lol still in sch pants and shirt).

one more thing. i realised that our team's defence is actually quite strong because we have big size players. when we play, realise that when the other team is attacking, we are actually quite in control of under the net. i think we should train more on the attacking. hahas. i think screenings and passing will help alot. its basics and its teamwork. but yea. practice more shooting also ahha. all of us.

k just some suggestions. put yours up as well if you have anything in mind. =)
p.s. to the guy below. girls want a guy to be mature enough to handle such things, so that they feel more secure. first thing, is to carry on with life. happily.

met at lavender control stn at 9....waited awhile..den we headed to the agency to get the tix and stuff. den we board the bus.. AFB8133..wanted sms my mom let her buy 4D but thot that maybe i'd do it after the trip..but who knows! the number came out on sat..lost the chance.. so the trip started..we're all excited..lalala..reach there bout 5 am..cnt check in so we went to starbucks drink some hot stuff..the expresso macchiato is shag..do not ever try it..yup..kel's tuna sandwich nice..the weather freaking cold! went to mac to slack til check in time.wei nt feeling that well..big fever bug..

ok..we checked in..went to rooms and slack...we decided go for a warm up ride.hell..it reli warmed me up.i rarely sit these heart thumping rides and now gotta get on 1..whoa..exciting.after that wei the fever gettin bad..so he and phy go rest 1st..kel went to get medicine.some medical chat goin on between him and the pharmacist...den went back..gave wei med and some paus..haha..den more rides came..lol..play play play the whole day..den dinner we ate kenny roasters..the service there like shit man! thou the food is cheap. u get stared jus for asking for the bill..lol.. den the mist came..went for 1 last corkscrew..whoa..rocks my balls man! cold and thrillingly fun..lol..

haha..i have a bit mental block..lots of things happen ah..but cnt rmb..k cut short.

last min shopping..finding present for a gd fren ah...buy liao..den jus b4 board the bus found a nice shop make those rice in water things,wth man,nvm..decided to make..haha,den mel nid look for so many present liddat,too bad don haf his mushroom=)....did a mini trade with mel...den we board the bus..ride down was exciting..seems lyk anytime the bus gonna fall over..^^...den played daidee on board(nv forget our origins man)haha..no table so a towel will do..see attached pic:



yea..den bus back to sg..melvin 4gt to take the departure card off the bus which is required to go thru customs..and the most wonderful thing is..he went out..walk past customs..took his card and den went past..lol..wat is the security check for...mel rocks..lol..yea..den back to sg..took cab home..if only got more time..den cn slack more..

for friends and members of teamdaidee.. if you're the really slow kind and still stuck in your own dumb world of playing dota everyday, haha, the latest news is that our beloved team members namely hardcore weilun (and his girlfriend phylicia), magic man zhiheng, nurse koh kelvin and camper melvin is going on a faraway journey to GENTING!! haha.. thats right. and they'll be leaving at 10pm today. so lets wish them the best in enjoying their break there before their schools start.. hm at least for melvin cuz his starts on monday. but i do pray for the safety of the other guys especially as melvin is gay. i dont like gay team mates in our team and one melvin is more than enough..

Team's Progress

YO. We played 7 different matches against different people today and our score sheet was 4 wins 3 losses.

2 matches against an adult team of mixed nationality. Won 1 Lost 1

2 matches against an outside team (like us) but with a coach. Won 1 Lost 1

2 matches against some China kids. We had 1 man short in 1 match. Won 2

1 match against the NS men who are always hanging around. Lost 1

All matches we won were very close fights. And we did not have Vanan throughout.

I personally feel that we can handle those slightly above average players but we will tend to struggle abit. General weakness of the team, i feel, are:

1. Weak Stamina (at least it applies for me)
2. Never hold supposedly positions well
3. Sometimes forget to help each other in defending
4. WEILUN KEEPS FOULING

The strengths

1. Unpredictable (think zhiheng)
2. Score like hell when hot (think aloy, melvin)
3. Good teamwork at times

We will improve slowly guys. Do not worry. Just an update on how we are doing for the benefit of those who have not been around for some time. Hope to see more of you guys coming down.
