hmm yea so now a's are over. haha. last sat was a good outing though we have to wait long for the court. been long since so many ppl come. haha. thanks everyone. hopefully it will be the same with this sat. hopefully this time it will be less crowded at the courts.

Just like how James Bond have the codename 007, i think we should have it too.

Since we are called Team Daidee, obviously our codes will have to be card names. Captain aloy is surely Daidee. haha. Lets discuss this man and let us make ourselves a polo tee or wat (not jersey, dun worry) before u JC guys go in army to mature. We still got one more year to be kiddish.

how u guys doing?..nt much news from u all...the pace of sat bballs also slowing down..hope the A's ppl faster join us agn and all...its been awhile since a whole buncha us played together..miss those times ah..

yo. its early in the morning man. ahha. i cant get to sleep. sick of the studying shit. but it'll be over in about 1 month. my paper (which is the last paper, not considering 'S' paper) is the last paper. ending on the 24th of november. just to let you guys know, im actually quite screwed for this exam. but yea i'll do my best. many of you have told me b4, and will continue telling me. yup i'll do my best. hahas. anw, just to come and type smth. cuz im super bored. ok im off to bathe haha (lol still in sch pants and shirt).

one more thing. i realised that our team's defence is actually quite strong because we have big size players. when we play, realise that when the other team is attacking, we are actually quite in control of under the net. i think we should train more on the attacking. hahas. i think screenings and passing will help alot. its basics and its teamwork. but yea. practice more shooting also ahha. all of us.

k just some suggestions. put yours up as well if you have anything in mind. =)
p.s. to the guy below. girls want a guy to be mature enough to handle such things, so that they feel more secure. first thing, is to carry on with life. happily.

met at lavender control stn at 9....waited awhile..den we headed to the agency to get the tix and stuff. den we board the bus.. AFB8133..wanted sms my mom let her buy 4D but thot that maybe i'd do it after the trip..but who knows! the number came out on sat..lost the chance.. so the trip started..we're all excited..lalala..reach there bout 5 am..cnt check in so we went to starbucks drink some hot stuff..the expresso macchiato is shag..do not ever try it..yup..kel's tuna sandwich nice..the weather freaking cold! went to mac to slack til check in time.wei nt feeling that well..big fever bug..

ok..we checked in..went to rooms and slack...we decided go for a warm up ride.hell..it reli warmed me up.i rarely sit these heart thumping rides and now gotta get on 1..whoa..exciting.after that wei the fever gettin bad..so he and phy go rest 1st..kel went to get medicine.some medical chat goin on between him and the pharmacist...den went back..gave wei med and some paus..haha..den more rides came..lol..play play play the whole day..den dinner we ate kenny roasters..the service there like shit man! thou the food is cheap. u get stared jus for asking for the bill..lol.. den the mist came..went for 1 last corkscrew..whoa..rocks my balls man! cold and thrillingly fun..lol..

haha..i have a bit mental block..lots of things happen ah..but cnt rmb..k cut short.

last min shopping..finding present for a gd fren ah...buy liao..den jus b4 board the bus found a nice shop make those rice in water things,wth man,nvm..decided to make..haha,den mel nid look for so many present liddat,too bad don haf his mushroom=)....did a mini trade with mel...den we board the bus..ride down was exciting..seems lyk anytime the bus gonna fall over..^^...den played daidee on board(nv forget our origins man)haha..no table so a towel will do..see attached pic:



yea..den bus back to sg..melvin 4gt to take the departure card off the bus which is required to go thru customs..and the most wonderful thing is..he went out..walk past customs..took his card and den went past..lol..wat is the security check for...mel rocks..lol..yea..den back to sg..took cab home..if only got more time..den cn slack more..

for friends and members of teamdaidee.. if you're the really slow kind and still stuck in your own dumb world of playing dota everyday, haha, the latest news is that our beloved team members namely hardcore weilun (and his girlfriend phylicia), magic man zhiheng, nurse koh kelvin and camper melvin is going on a faraway journey to GENTING!! haha.. thats right. and they'll be leaving at 10pm today. so lets wish them the best in enjoying their break there before their schools start.. hm at least for melvin cuz his starts on monday. but i do pray for the safety of the other guys especially as melvin is gay. i dont like gay team mates in our team and one melvin is more than enough..

Team's Progress

YO. We played 7 different matches against different people today and our score sheet was 4 wins 3 losses.

2 matches against an adult team of mixed nationality. Won 1 Lost 1

2 matches against an outside team (like us) but with a coach. Won 1 Lost 1

2 matches against some China kids. We had 1 man short in 1 match. Won 2

1 match against the NS men who are always hanging around. Lost 1

All matches we won were very close fights. And we did not have Vanan throughout.

I personally feel that we can handle those slightly above average players but we will tend to struggle abit. General weakness of the team, i feel, are:

1. Weak Stamina (at least it applies for me)
2. Never hold supposedly positions well
3. Sometimes forget to help each other in defending
4. WEILUN KEEPS FOULING

The strengths

1. Unpredictable (think zhiheng)
2. Score like hell when hot (think aloy, melvin)
3. Good teamwork at times

We will improve slowly guys. Do not worry. Just an update on how we are doing for the benefit of those who have not been around for some time. Hope to see more of you guys coming down.

saturday we will be playing a game probably just for fun against melvin's friends. like just to play against different people. yups. i know you guys got exams and stuff. so all the best to everyone and me. haha.

ehh just to say this team rocks. we might not be the best on the court but off the court we're still tops. yups so keep in touch everyone! all the best in your studies and endeavours.

Captain?

Regarding aloy's post. i personally feel that we are not in NCC and that we do not need a captain. I feel that aloy has been great in helping us contact each other and fixing matches. Skills wise, i think non of us can say we are one step higher?

We all have different styles of playing. We all think that we can score, thats why we do things we do on the court. No one would crap a shot thinking that it would't score, no matter how despo it might be. Therefore i dare say our skills are equal. So choosing a captain purely via skills should be out.

Attitude wise. We are all busy people and sometimes we tend to FORGET to reply sms that ask us to play bball. right?? So i was thinking, we do it on an interest basis. Example, we all know we play every saturday. But if you feel like you want to see a big crowd, you can initiate the sms sending. If u have lobang for a match, you can sms also. No need to say aloy or whoever is the only one who can send sms. No such thing.

Therefore, to sum up, i do not think that we need an official captain until we start playing matches on tournament levels. Till then, aloy would make a good unofficial captain.

the good old days..

hey.. reading what kachung said.. yea.. i miss secondary school alot. i'd rather be in gess now. miss all the people.. the teachers, the students, our friends, the drink stall aunty. all the nonsense i see in secondary school. my rudeness to mr teo. playing bball during recess. playing wwe cards after school. playing daidee anytime anywhere. go tiong after school. even during o'level. every saturday ncc training. tekan tekan tekan. (paiseh melvin.. haha. you npcc) bball and soccer after that. damn power la.. we'll never live to see the same things again. but i guess they will always be part of our memories. the memories which make us who we are today. it might not seem much. but it is alot.. these memories are part of us. and always will.. and i hope this team will carry on. and like what weilun and zhiheng said. we'll be balling in walking sticks.. if we are still in contact after 2 years.. im sure we'll be in contact for a very long time. so teamdaidee shall keep balling.. ;p
